| The application fee of $200 is due upon registration and students will not be accepted until this fee has been paid. The remainder of the entrance fee ($200) is to be paid with October’s tuition. If the entire entrance fee of $400 is paid by July 31, then the entrance fee will be discounted by $50. The entrance fee will be $350 with the discount. All payments must be made within the first 10 days of the month. | |

Payments made by the first of the month will receive a $10 discount for the first child and $5 per child after. |
School Hours
In grades 1st-8th classes begin at 8:00 A.M. and will dismiss at 3:15 P.M. Monday-Thursday.
Friday hours are 8:00 A.M. to 12 P.M.
Homework Policy
At Forrest Ward Memorial School we believe that time at home with families is precious. Nightly homework is not assigned and we encourage students play outside and enjoy their time in the evenings. Students are given weekly spelling words and memory verse that they are responsible for practicing outside of school hours. If students do not complete assigned tasks/learning activities during school they are responsible to finish these at home in the evening.
Recess/Exercise
We believe that play and movement are key to children's success in the classroom. We have two recesses per day and a 10 minute exercise block in the morning. From our experience students are able to focus and stay on task more effectively when they have plenty of time to move around.
